Sri Lanka
Like many places that leave a lasting imprint, Sri Lanka revealed itself to me through its atmosphere rather than geography. Dense vegetation, drifting mist, and filtered light shaped my experience more than landmarks or routes.
This series was created over a short period of time, not as a travel narrative, but as a succession of quiet encounters with the landscape. Looking upward into the trees or across hills veiled in fog, I was drawn to textures, rhythms and subtle transitions between presence and disappearance.
These images are less about describing Sri Lanka than about holding on to a feeling — the softness of the air, the weight of silence, and the slow unfolding of nature moving at its own pace.
Here, photography became a way of observing without disturbing, allowing space for contemplation and for what remains unseen.
